- Any other documents for use abroad or in the UK, which require a notary public certification or stamp
What does it cost?
An early indication of the costs can usually be given in advance but so that I can establish the charges please tell me the following:
• What service you need – witnessing signatures, certifying copy documents, obtaining Apostille etc
• The type of documents concerned – for instance is it a Power of Attorney that you need witnessing
• Who is signing or presenting the documents – one or more persons
• How many documents there are
• Which country they are to go to
As a guide I charge £120 for the first document requiring notarising and £35 for each additional signatory and £35 for each additional document. Documents which require additional time to be spent on them are charged at £50 per additional document. I do not charge VAT.
I can arrange legalisation where required and can provide details of costs which will depend upon which country the document is to be used in.
Disbursements are charged on top of fees for postage, FCDO fees, Embassy fees and legalisation agents fees.
Payment is required before documents can be released or sent for legalisation.
